Requirements for the papers

Manuscript structure

A research article must include the following mandatory elements:

  • title of the article;
  • author information (full name, academic degree, academic title, institutional affiliation, email address, ORCID);
  • abstract in Ukrainian and English (250-300 words);
  • keywords (5-7 words or phrases);
  • main text (introduction, problem statement, literature review, research objectives, methodology, results, discussion, conclusions, and prospects for further research);
  • references.

Technical requirements

  • Submission format: .docx file.
  • Article length: 4,000-6,000 words.
  • Font: Times New Roman, size 14, line spacing 1.5.
  • Margins: top and bottom – 20 mm, left – 20 mm, right – 15 mm.
  • Paragraph indentation: 1.25 cm.
  • Illustrative material (tables, figures, charts) must be numbered and placed in the text at the point of first mention. Captions are required for all tables and figures.

Language and style

  • The primary language of publication is Ukrainian or English (depending on the journal’s profile).
  • Authors are expected to use academic style, precise terminology, and avoid journalistic or emotionally coloured expressions.

Submission of manuscripts

  • Manuscripts must be submitted via the journal’s electronic editorial platform.
  • Submission is possible only if all authors have an ORCID.

 

Responsibility of Authors and Editorial Office

Authors bear primary responsibility for the accuracy of the data presented, the correctness of citations, and the completeness of bibliographic information. Submission of a manuscript confirms that the work is original, truthful, and compliant with the principles of academic integrity.

The editorial office, in turn, ensures editorial and peer-review oversight, verification of compliance with formatting standards, and adherence to international principles of publication ethics. Final responsibility for the content and scholarly soundness of the publication is shared between the authors and the editorial board.

ORDER OF ARRANGEMENT OF THE MATERIAL:

  1. Author’s full name (left-aligned, bold, 10 pt);

  2. Academic title, academic degree, position (left-aligned, 10 pt);

  3. Place of work: name of the institution, city (left-aligned, 10 pt);

  4. E-mail address (left-aligned, italic, 10 pt);

  5. ORCID ID: (left-aligned, italic, 10 pt). If there are multiple authors, information about each author should be provided on separate lines.

Important! Please note that in accordance with editorial ethics requirements, the list of authors must include individuals who have made a significant contribution to the research presented in the article. Academic status, position, or other indicators of seniority should not determine the order of authors in the list; the order should reflect the relative leadership and the extent of each researcher’s contribution to the work.

  1. Title of the article (centered, bold, 12 pt, uppercase letters, without paragraph indentation);

  2. The word “Abstract.” (bold, 10 pt). On the same line – the abstract of the article (not less than 1,800 characters, including keywords) (regular font, justified alignment, 10 pt, left and right indents – 1 cm);

  3. The phrase “Keywords:” (bold italic, 10 pt). On the same line – keywords (5–8 terms separated by “;”) (regular font, justified alignment, 10 pt, left and right indents – 1 cm);

  4. Main text of the article (Times New Roman font, justified alignment, 14 pt, line spacing – 1.5).

Important! For English-language articles, citations in the main text should be formatted as follows:
(Author’s surname, year of publication, page number or page range). For example: (Hanraads, 2010, p. 23) or (Hanraads, 2010, pp. 22–25).

Page numbers are not indicated in the following cases:

  • reference to a website;

  • reference to an entire book (article) as a whole.

In all other cases (for example, when paraphrasing a source), page numbers must обязательно be indicated.

  1. References:

  • “REFERENCES” is formatted according to the APA standard (Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association));

  • Subheading “REFERENCES” (left-aligned, bold, 12 pt, uppercase letters);

  • The reference list must include only those sources cited in the text;

  • Sources are numbered and arranged in the order of their appearance in the text; each entry starts from a new paragraph, font size 12 pt, line spacing 1.0;

  • It is recommended that the reference list contain no more than 30 sources;

  • Self-citations must not exceed 15% of the total number of sources listed;

  • At least 40% of the sources should be publications indexed in Scopus/WoS, demonstrating the author’s awareness of the topic at the international level;

  • Russian publications and Russian-language sources are not allowed in the reference list.
